Our Philosophy…

We run our projects like a theatre production from our first casting call to the final curtain. Theatre productions have dozens of moving parts that all have to work together seamlessly. It involves trust, courage and confidence, and problem solving on the fly to keep everything moving in the right direction.

Collaboration

Theatre practitioners are master collaborators. That’s because there’s no time for micro-managing, you have to have faith in your colleagues that they not only know what they’re doing within their fields, but also know that you’re all on the same page about the story you’re trying t o tell.

Be Brave!

Theatre people are brave people. And I don’t just mean those who get up onstage in front of hundreds of people dressed like cats and singing in trash cans. Anyone involved in the arts can tell you that expressing your feelings and opinions is scary. But in order to be a great artist, you have to take risks and believe in yourself, think outside the box in order to find the most effective way to execute your vision.

Problem Solving

If you have a problem within a production, you had better fix it, and fix it fast. In a theatre piece, everyone is important and no one is left behind. That means you have to focus in on every detail, because if something is wrong in one area, it’s only a matter of time before it affects you too. Everyone d e p e n d s on each other, which means we all need to p u t our heads together to solve problems as they arise – and they will arise.
